The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems In-Center Hemodialysis Survey (CAHPS-ICH) measures the experience of people receiving In-Center Hemodialysis (ICH).What does the survey assess?
Dialysis centers that serve at least 30 eligible patients in the calendar year are required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to administer the ICH CAHPS survey in order to receive a full Medicare reimbursement. Dialysis centers that fail to report ICH CAHPS could face a reduction in Medicare reimbursement.
Dialysis centers that served fewer than 30 patients may still voluntarily administer the ICH CAHPS survey.Do I need a vendor to administer ICH CAHPS?
